The Community Action Program is designed to create a meaningful impact on the lives of young community members.
The program is all about equipping your child with essential life skills and fostering a stronger sense of community involvement. Our Community Coaches actively assist them in developing and enhancing their skills to achieve their goals. They work collaboratively to identify and create opportunities to practise their skills to be able to access the community and activities more independently.
With a structured and individualised approach, this program aims to facilitate goal-oriented progress towards functional community participation. We strongly believe in inclusivity, advocating that every child, regardless of disability deserves the opportunity to actively engage in their community.
By providing a safe and supportive environment, we strive to promote an understanding of community diversity and instil the values of empathy, kindness, and social responsibility in our young participants.
This program is designed for children aged 8 years or more. It serves as an ideal platform for children who require assistance in social development or face challenges in community integration due to various reasons, including behavioural or learning difficulties.
This program offers additional support to families in a 1:1 setting out in the community or at home. This unique aspect of the program ensures that every child receives individual attention and works on specific areas to develop essential life skills.
